Summary:

The Senior HR Generalist will be responsible for managing the daily functions of the Human Resources team with respect to employee engagement efforts, benefits, compensation, employee relations, leaves of absences, talent acquisition, training and development, etc. This role will be supporting our APT Platform business. We’re looking for a candidate with demonstrated experience as a change agent. This is an onsite position.

Essential Functions:

  • Function as a trusted and credible HR Business Partner for assigned employee groups.
  • Cultivate positive employee relations ensuring confidentiality, establishing trust and credibility.
  • Collaborate with managers at all levels, to drive HR activities and priorities. Stay abreast and proactively ahead of new laws related to employment and people practices, and effectively interpret these into application within company's business.
  • Conduct investigations and resolve employee relations issues while coordinating with the Sr. HR Manager.
  • Coordinate and onboard new hires.
  • Ensure that we are creating a great candidate experience while ensuring we create a fair and effective hiring process to select the best qualified candidate.
  • Provide guidance on adherence to employment practices and policies.
  • Ensures the application of HR polices and processes and participates in special projects.
  • Maintain employee files and all other employment related records.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, or equivalent experience
  • HR Professional Certifications highly desirable

Experience:

  • The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of Human Resources Generalist experience in a high-functioning manufacturing environment for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Proven experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong relational and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong focus on teamwork and a high level of professional ethical standards.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Must demonstrate diplomacy and tact while interacting with all levels within and outside of the organization.
  • Training and presentation skills a plus.
  • Project Management and Change Management skills highly required.
  • Strong computer skills with especially strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

$90,000 - $109,000
