Summary:

The Director, FP&A is responsible for leading the financial planning and analysis function at the corporate level, providing reporting and analysis to drive financial performance and support decision-making. This highly visible role oversees budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and reporting processes, ensuring alignment across the business. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to senior leadership and other stakeholders.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead the FP&A budgeting and forecasting processes, developing comprehensive projection models that translate financial data into P&L and cash flow expectations.
  • Oversee month-end reporting activities, ensuring timely, accurate, and insightful reporting and variance analyses.
  • Prepare and review presentations for senior management and the Board of Directors, effectively and accurately communicating financial information.
  • Review and present financial reports and dashboards for senior management, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Partner with Financial Systems to optimize the financial consolidation system and other tools, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Partner with business units and corporate departments to gather information, validate assumptions, and provide financial support for strategic initiatives.
  • Drive the development of system solutions and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Mentor and develop FP&A team members, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Lead or participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives as required from senior leadership.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; MBA or CPA preferred.

Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a corporate environment, or other finance/accounting roles; minimum of 3 years of managerial experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting methodologies
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and efficiencies in FP&A functions.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing teams.

Salary

$155,000 - $186,500 + 20% bonus
